| Nelson Echevarria, Cheryl Echevarria, Mickey Mouse, and my Daughter Dina Shaaban 2009 at Walt Disney World |
We will be living in this area as of August 1, 2016; but we are all Americans, and nothing like this should ever happen to anyone straight or gay, black or white, disabled or able, just because you are different and someone doesn't like you for who and what you are.
I am Jewish, my husband is Christian, my daughter father is Muslim. I have been disabled since 2001 never thought I would be but I am legally blind. Nelson has 4 herniated disks in his back and sometime has really bad asthma.
I had a kidney transplant after being on dialysis from 2002-2005, my best friend Steve, gave me one of his kidneys and he was Gay, I say was, because he passed away from Cancer a few years ago. This was nothing to do with him donating to me.
Nelson and I are also parents and grandparents! If something like this had happened to my child or grandchild, we would be so upset about this whole thing, you go on vacation to the Happiest Place On Earth and this happens. You will never look at this place the same way again.
But we all must stick together! The world isn't as bad as it may seem. Right now it does, I will not say other wise. But also life is very short and things to see and do and enjoy with friends and family, should not be denied. All safety measures should be taken and all advise in this area will be given with love and respect from us as well.
With heavy hearts Echevarria Travel says love and peace to Orlando our new home and to the families that have been distraught over the last days there and continue at Walt Disney World.
God Bless!
